Dive 123, Stoke Point Reef, Devon, England, 11/05/2008

Drop down boat anchor with Richard to kelp on rock, swim SE & find fine gravel bottom which we follow south. Spot large spiny starfish moving quick, look closer & spot small sand brittle star! Also lots of lighbulb sea squirts, chimney sponges, some purse sponges & boring sponge. Two-spot gobies, dragonets, lots of morchellium argus (club sea squirt), some sea bream & rainbow weed too. Very interesting & relaxing. Perfect dive profile - no red warning ascent lines! Used SMB again - no problems. These 4 dives first time I've been able to zip & unzip dry suit unaided! Also chocolate finger sponge & gooseberry sea squirt, dahlia anemones, & sparkling sea squirt (Pycnoclavella aurilucens)!
