Dive 17, Playa del Cabron, El Cabron, Gran Canaria, 15/02/2005

In 13:20, dive time 36 minutes, max depth 15 metres.

Arrow head spider crab - very thin & long legs, with yellow/gold pincers! Also 2 (1 male & 1 female) cuttle fish swimming with undulating waves & changing colour. Lots of urchins - deep black/blue. Small sharp mose puffer fish, lots of shoaling small fish with black stripes & pale yellow bodies (zebra/spotted bream?). Lost 1 fin on exit due to cramp & carelessness! & surging waves. Gentle dive sloping down from 4-15m along wall with lots of fish (& spak plugs - used as fishing weights!). Everything very colourful. €150 for Irina & myself - 2 dives each, both very enjoyable with lots to see. Pleased with my buoyancy control, & no ear/sinus problems!
