Dive 175, Landing Bay, Lundy, England, 26/07/2009

In 11:55, dive time 26 minutes, max depth 13 metres.

Very rough all around island, after a windy & rainy night camping on Lundy. So back to Landing Bay near jetty, drop down with girls, fiddle with camera, surface by mistake, drop down again but they're gone! So drift above sandy bottom (but in wrong direction), then faster current over spider crabs, velvet & hermit crabs, snakelocks anemones. Decide to surface, deploy SMB & do 3 min safety, but surface in open & stormy ocean. South of Mouse Island, near aptly named Surf Point! Boat tries to take me alongside, but SMB caught in line. Mate throws a line, & I'm lucky & out-of-breath, hauled in to lift & safety, with Irina relieved! Seasick (for her) journey home :(. Skip last dive - too tired/shocked.
