Dive 254, SS Thistlegorm, Sha'ab Ali, Red Sea, 03/12/2014

WWII ship carrying supplies for British troops, sunk 6 October 1941 by German bombers. Very big ship, carrying railway engines, machine guns, etc. Down boat stern mooring line, swim out to engine on sea bed, swim to stern, giant propeller, then along to bow & into captains cabin. Lots of fish on deck, but didn't keep close to Bertie :(. Low on air near bow, but swim to line on mid-ship & ascend. Impressive wreck, but exhausting.
