Dive 93, Shrimps Cave, Gozo, Malta, 21/05/2007

In 10:25, dive time 37 minutes, max depth 36.5 metres.

With Paul, jump in & drop down & swim along reef face until we see sandy path. Drop down & see rather cloudy water at entrance - swim into darkness & reach end of cave, look up & see funnel - rise up slowly into chamber - at first only see rock, but near the top see lots of shrimps - fantastic! But Paul's lost his mask - kicked off - he waits for me outside & is ok. Slow swim around Reqqua Point - very pretty, lots of fish & nice velvet purple starfish & parrot fish. Strange beeping noise - probably other divers? Quite a spooky sensation in the cave - mixture of fear & challenging interest. Very nice dive.
