Robert Vince

Robert was born 1714 in Hackford (near Hingham), Norfolk to parents Robert & Elizabeth Vince.

On 3 October 1743 Robert married Jane Foulsham at St Peter's Church, Morley St Peter, Norfolk. They had 11 children; all but the first (Philip) survived to adulthood.

Robert was a farmer, and reasonably wealthy. Shortly before his death he wrote a will, which bequeaths £5 to his son Solomon, and divides the rest of his estate (except for his yellow bed, bequeathed specifically to Jacob) between the other 8 of his surviving sons & daughters: Samuel, Robert, Elizabeth Barnard, Martha Warman, Jacob, John, Thomas, & Mary Buckle. He was buried in Besthorpe, Norwich on 22 March 1784.
