Solomon Vince

Solomon was born in Besthorpe, Norfolk, to parents Robert & Jane Vince, and baptised 26 May 1751 in Besthorpe.

He married Susannah Brighting on 6 January 1778 at Besthorpe. They had 4 children: Susannah, William, Robert & Mary.

His father Robert died in 1784 & left him £5 in his will.

After his wife Susannah died 26 December 1792, Solomon had 3 more children with Susanna Cowles (nee Garrad), a widow: Ann, Samuel & James. Later he married Susanna on 15 May 1829 at Attleborough, Norfolk, a couple of years after the death of her first husband (Robert Cowles).

Age 87, he was buried on 29 August 1838 in Attleborough, Norfolk.
