William Vince

Born in 1751 to parents Solomon & Susannah Vince in Attleborough.

He married Margaret Seaman by banns on 12 October 1812 at Swardeston, Norfolk (Margaret's home parish). They had 9 children; all but one survived to adulthood.

Age 48 he was baptised on 8 May 1834 at Little Ellingham, occupation recorded as gardener.

In the 1841 census he's 55, a blacksmith, living at Church Green, Little Ellingham with his wife Margaret (55), daughter Caroline (13) & grand-daughter Emily (3, Maria's daughter). By 1851 Caroline has left home: they are still with Emily.

"Sacred to the memory of William Vince who died August 5th 1855 aged 70 years Also Margaret his wife who died February 25th 1856 aged 74 years and Mary their daughter who died January 9th 1846 aged 32 years."
