Biography of Charles Jaques Nichols

Born 26 June 1903 in Bowes Park Middlesex to parents George & Emma Nichols. In the 1911 census age 7 he's living at 7 The Campsbourne, Hornsey, Middlesex with his parents George & Emma, and brothers Henry (5) & Frederick (1). In 1926 he's living with his parents at 27 Palace Road, Hornsey, London N8.

Charles married Phoebe Theresa Rose Daniel on 21 July 1928 at Edmonton, Essex. They had 3 children, Donald Charles, Patricia Joan, & Robert Gerald (Bob).

In the 1939 register he's a Laundry Transport Manager, living with his wife Phoebe, daughter Patricia (8), sons Donald (10) & Robert (1), and a servant, at 44 Clifton Road, Wood Green, Middlesex. In 1955 he's living at 38 Manor Road, Potters Bar, Enfield, with his wife Phoebe, his daughter Patricia, and her husband Kenneth Spice.

Charles died on 12 March 1983; at that time he lived at 2 Hurst Court, Waterford Place, Highcliffe, Christchurch, Dorset.
