Dive 104, Waterfront, Plymouth, England, 28/07/2007

In 12:18, dive time 17 minutes, max depth 3.7 metres.

Rescue Diver shore dive - objective to do expanding square search & find old motorbike. Start ok, but we didn't divide navigation & distance tasks between us, so after a while we're unsure when to turn! After 15 minutes we give up. Didn't realise there was a small current, so expanded square was drifting- unfortunately for us away from the target! First dive with my brand-new replacement Prime (2nd one sent away with failed IrDA). Then in-water rescue exercises - panicked diver at surface; unresponsive face down diver at surface; & kit removal before exiting water with victim (didn't do this in deep enough water - left removal & carry too late/close to shore).
