Dive 26, Cawsand Bay, Plymouth, England, 27/07/2005

PADI Advanced Open Water drysuit sea dive. All skills sucessfully completed. Good dive & buoyancy control - very large (orange) dry suit & liner, with my fins & hiking socks. Did skills first on sandy bottom, then swam with 2 others, but one vanished (tangled SMB); continued with one buddy (mistake - should have surfaced), couldn't find rocks. Turned back, then my buddy vanished (feet up to surface) so I continued 1 min. then surfaced, with 3 min safety stop @ 5m (mistake). Heavy rain & swell at surface, but completed Advanced Open Water :-). Lessons: surface when you lose a buddy! Take bearings before dive!
