Dive 289, Garden of Eden, Cancun, Mexico, 28/06/2019

In 13:52, dive time 63 minutes, max depth 12.4 metres.

First Cenote cavern dive - Irina stays behind snorkelling. Gisella enters cave & runs out a line (reels back in on return). Camera fogs, but film with GoPro. Mostly white limestone, a few fish, but no shafts of sunlight as weather clouded over :(! Mangrove roots visible above. Remarkable thermoclines & haloclines - suddenly very hot, suddenly turbid like clear semolina porridge. Difficult to clear ear - caused some nasal bleeding, but not noticed during dive.
