Dive 290, Barco Hundido, Playa Chica, Lanzarote, 23/02/2020

In 09:27, dive time 31 minutes, max depth 27.8 metres.

First dive this year in Lanzarote. Walk slowly into sea across gently shelving sand. DM puts my fins & BCD on (one fin came off, ankle painful). Strong warm east wind has reduced vis - sandy bottom. I'm breathing heavily most of the time :(. Several fireworms, starfish, and a small nudibranch. DM helps me swim back, & I'm quite exhausted after walking up beach, so decide not to do a second dive. Irina very helpful - gives me a hand putting on & taking off gear, washing, etc:). Dive went to old boat wreck (Barco Hundido) with resident grouper. Several flatfish on sandy bottom during return.
