Dive 41, Blue Hole, Gozo, Malta, 26/09/2005

Last dive this trip - early, so few other divers. Around to left and up small chimney - only enough room for one at a time - as I rise up, lovely little blue grottos appear one after another. Then along a pretty coral reef and right to sheer wall, swim against current surrounded by many fish. Wait for Derek & Indie to do quick deep dive. See lots of ornate wrasse, pretty swallow tail sea perch, sand smelt, bream, & nice dusky (painted) grouper. Sponges. Looked for moray again - but gone. Relaxed & enjoyed rock scenery. Male (grey) & female (bright colours) parrot fish. Very enjoyable - & managed not to fall over this time. Fossilised sand dollars in rocks!
