Dive 46, James Egan Layne, Plymouth, England, 11/02/2006

In 12:50, dive time 35 minutes, max depth 20.2 metres.

Mask leaking at surface - must hold strap during entry! Flooding most of the time - annoying. Saw snorkel - clue that strap was loose, but didn't realise until it came off completely! Got it on again & mostly cleared, but still not right. Lots of pretty fish (attracted to my gloved finger when wriggled!) - especially a lovely bright electric blue wrasse. Followed Bob - lucky he has a good sense of direction, as I felt lost inside ribs & over debris. But a great place to dive. Fingers cold near end, & some air in feet again - boots are too big! Large spider crab clamped to rusty iron beam; starfish, dead mens fingers, anemonies. Dropped slate, but noticed it & recovered!
