Dive 49, Chicken Bay, Kas, Turkey, 22/04/2006

In 14:02, dive time 43 minutes, max depth 19 metres.

With Omar & Chris; 12kg & I dive better, saving energy! Swim along rocky & sandy reef with lots of tube worms - lovely spirograph fans & black sponges, also small flounder in sand. Round end of reef head for deeper water & find two wings & front fuselage of single prop plane sunk 3 months ago for divers! Then back along reef - lots of 'sand dollar' shells (sea mole skeleton?) but very fragile. Then into shallows, where we see trumpet fish (long & thin, a bit like barracuda). Relaxing & very enjoyable dive. Saw inquisitive tube worm on black sponge, & maybe a hermit anemone.
