Dive 64, Blackpool Sands, Start Bay, England, 12/08/2006

Picnic lunch with Irina, then a second beach dive with Dominic, despite his ear problems. Over gravel & some rock/kelp, with mussel beds & lots of dahlia anemonies - many colours, very beautiful. Also moon snails & an army of whelks all going in the same direction. Dragonets too, & a spiny spider crab. Over sand we find lots of bivalve siphons, a hermit crab, whelk eating dead urchin, and a large cuttlefish settled in a hollow & happy to be photographed several times! Interesting dive - new habitats.
