Biography of Mary Muskett (nee Mary Spurgeon)

Mary was born in Wymondham, Norfolk & baptised 25 October 1754. Her father Benjamin Spurgeon died the following summer.

Shortly after her mother Lydia Spurgeon's death in June 1774 she married John Mark Muskett (a widower) on 23 October 1774 at Shottesham-All Saints, Norfolk.

Her grandfather Comfitt Cadywould died in January 1775: Mary inherited a significant portion of his estate. Her other grandfather John Spurgeon left Mary Muskett £10 in his will - he died in November 1778.

After her marriage she lived at Shottesham until her death age 29, shortly after the birth of her 5th child. She was buried on 4 December 1783.
