Robert Walter Spurgeon (1856-1921) & his father Robert Spurgeon (1811-1895) were christened at St Peter's Church, Little Ellingham. Robert Spurgeon married Harriet Vince in 1836 at St Peter's. John Spurgeon (1768-1850) remarried Mary Gedge in 1808 at St Peter's in 1808, and was churchwarden there from 1803 to 1813.
